Business Deployment and Exploration

Module 1.0

At this point, Akcome Optronics began expanding its business to solar cell and module R&D and production. In 2013, Akcome obtained JET, MCS and several other solar module certifications. This means the performance, reliability and safety of modules provided by Akcome are well-received and highly-recognized worldwide, thus laying a solid foundation for Akcome Optronics to venture into the international market.

2010,Suncome Solar founded; Start to develop the solar cell and module filed.

2011,Foundation stone-laying ceremony held for Zhangjiagang manufacturing base; Fully-automated equipment production line introduced.

2012,FMass production and product passed TUV certification.

2013,Obtained JET, CGC and MCS certifications for complete module series.

Scale-up and High-quality Development

Module 2.0

By increasing production capacity and continuous inputting in R&D, Akcome Optronics entered the scale-up and high-quality development stage.

2014,Rated Grade-AAA Credit Enterprise of Jiangsu Province; Received title of Jiangsu Provincial Hi-Tech Enterprises.
2015,Officially changed company name to “Akcome Optronics”; Total cumulative shipments exceeded 2.5 GW; R&D lab passed CNAS certification.

Brand Building

Module 3.0

Akcome Optronics continues development by building solar module brands powered by the unique corporate strength of self-owned technologies. It also ascended to become a global Tier 1 solar module maker. In 2019, the high-efficiency HJT cell module program began operations, signifying that Akcome Optronics had expanded its production capacity while engaged in fast and sustainable development with self-owned brands.

2017,Module capacity expanded to 1.4GW; Recognized as a Bloomberg Tier 1 solar module manufacturer; Products received Interteck IEC certification;Obtained first CGC certification for DWS manufacturing line.
2018,Selected as Jiangxi Government’s c-Si Module Supplier of the Year; Built strategic partnerships with JYT and Wasion Energy; Launched PERC mono and shingled module; Total cumulative shipments to Japan exceeded 1.5GW.
2019,Changxing (Zhejiang) manufacturing facility established; Received first DEKRA Seal certification and passed KS (Korea) certification.
2020,Changxing manufacturing facility released full production capacity. Launched new high power-low hot spot module and the whole CHASER module series.

The company’s new energy manufacturing business centers on manufacturing creative, high-quality and high-efficiency solar cells and modules, with Mounting System and Solar Frames as the supporting supplies, aiming to bring affordable electricity through its strength in production scale and advanced technology.

With new energy project development and operation as its core, the company’s new energy service business focuses on providing ALL-IN-ONE solutions across the full lifecycle of energy generation, covering investment advisory, design development, financial leasing, EPC construction, operation maintenance and electricity sales. The company has also introduced an all-smart, highly-efficient services to ensure the most reliable and highest quality to our customers as well as the increased overall revenue and value for power plants.
Excellent Performance

Akcome has a steadily expanding customer base and a track record of growth to come. In 2020, the module production capacity of 3.8GW and the cell production capacity of 1.2GW were achieved; with the production of a super-efficient HJT cell module project, Akcome will enter the batch and mass production stage in 2021.

Precise Market Direction

Akcome Optronics ultra-high efficiency HJT cell module project represents a widely recognized high-efficiency technology direction in the PV industry, and it is crucial for Akcome and its customers to put it into production quickly. At present, the first phase of the project has been completed, and the production line is equipped with all imported international top advanced semiconductor equipment, with innovative and international leading process technology. Our target is to achieve a module production capacity of 5GW and a cell production capacity of 4GW in 2021.

03 MANUFACTURE

Akcome Optronics introduces fully-automated production lines to satisfy our customers with consistent quality, which also paves the way for the company to fully-realize smart manufacturing in the future.

Cell Production Line

We use YAC, AKT, BACCINI, J&R equipment imported from Japan, Europe and America, and realize the fully automatic loading and unloading of each process to minimize the impact of manual operation. We are equipped with the industry-leading Halm tester, using the German Fraunhofer standard, to ensure the consistency and reliability of the cells. The transparent conductive film is prepared by reactive plasma deposition coating method with high mobility, good conductivity, and high transmission rate made possible with the use of first-class raw material suppliers. It also has the characteristics of high cell conversion efficiency, low breakage rate, and low encapsulation loss.

Module Production Line

The production line has a high production capacity of HJT, shingled modules, and other cutting-edge products using advanced automated production equipment in the industry. It has pioneered the introduction of an MES management system and digitally tracks the entire production process to provide customers with reliable products. It is also equipped with a comprehensive aging box, PASAN tester, EL tester, dynamic load tester, UV aging box, and other major equipment. The testing projects cover the reliability, safety, electrical performance, etc. of the PV modules, meeting the requirements of IEC61215-2-2021 / IEC61730-2:2016 / UL1703 and other module testing standards while having the ability to apply for CNAS certification body, visual laboratory, and other qualifications at a later stage.

Our R&D center is equipped with multiple top-end testing and detection equipment, such as Swiss Pasan Solar Simulator and Quantum Efficiency (QE) Test system.

The company’s PV module lab obtained certifications from TUV, Interteck, and CNAS. Multiple diversified products have been developed and put into operation.

The company also obtained the nation’s first CGC certification for DWS manufacturing lines for silicon cutting and products; and also passed the certification in China’s PV “Top Runner Program”.
